Business Center at NJAI

NJAI –in the business of developing the arts. Art and art related business in New Jersey generates 1.5 billion dollars in actual and collateral dollars to the state economy. The New Jersey Arts Incubator Business Center’s mission is to support the business development of NJ’s artists and art organizations, creating economically viable arts entities that will contribute to the economic revitalization and economic health of New Jersey’s cities and towns. The Business Center will provide the business foundation for artists and art organizations, in tandem with the NJAI Arts Center. The NJAI Arts Center’s mission is to develop and present product of artistic expression and to educate young and seasoned New Jersey residents from all socio-economic groups. The NJAI Business Center will include a conference room for meetings and presentations and a large open plan office area, called the “Dorm,” which will host up to nine work space cubicles of various sizes, wired for computer and phone service. There will be a common area for participants with a copier, fax machine, hospitality and work tables where organizations may interface sharing ideas and support. Private offices for primary resident members will also be available.  NJAI will provide NJAI Artistic Resident members below-market work space, office resources, educational opportunities, mentoring programs and tactical business support by professionals of varying disciplines at reduced rates. NJAI Artistic Resident members may utilize on-site mailboxes, limited receptionist services and access cards to copiers, fax machines and other office supplies and equipment.  NJAI Artistic Resident members will be entitled to one annual complimentary presentation opportunity in the NJAI Theater or in one of the rehearsal studios/galleries. Resident members are also included in a variety of NJAI marketing materials.
