WEST ORANGE — Enjoy the flair of a faire?

Then over the weekend, the New Jersey Renaissance Faire Oskar Schindler Performing Arts Center was the place to be. There were jugglers, aerialists, sword fighters and other entertainers, charming families and other visitors below sunny skies. 

The faire, was conceived in 2009 by T.J. Miller, John Williams and Phil Leipf, according to organizers. A cast of dozens filled out the experience and the grounds, as merchants sold handmade and engraved goods.

Next up for the New Jersey Renaissance Faire is a partnership with Delaware River Railroad Excursions, to bring visitors you a renaissance faire and live show aboard a steam train. More information is at
