Saturday, June 21, is the longest day of the year.
It's the first day of summer. The day marks the end of one phase, and the beginning of another.
On summer solstice eve, Friday, June 20, New Jersey Arts Incubator (NJAI) is holding a Summer Solstice Celebration, at the OSPAC (Oskar Schindler Performing Arts Center), 4 Boland Drive, West Orange. For details and tickets, visit ospac.org.
Dance, song, drums, shakers, yoga salutations, including performers from Montclair, are all on the bill for the outdoor concert, which will begin at 7:30 p.m. It's lawn seating and BYO-chair. Instruments for children will be available for purchase.
